Visit Oswestry celebrates one year of their Tourism Ambassador scheme

At the end of the first year of Oswestry’s Tourism Ambassador Scheme, over 40 members of Visit Oswestry along with some of the first Gold Oswestry Tourism Ambassadors attended a presentation evening.

Deputy Lieutenant of Shropshire, Veronica Lillis, made the presentations and said how much she admired the scheme and hoped it would gather many more Ambassadors in the coming year. The Gold Ambassadors who received their awards included Visit Oswestry, Cambrian Heritage Railways and Oswestry Town Mayor, Jay Moore. There are now 32 Gold Tourism Ambassadors.
